The Millburn-Short Hills Volunteer First Aid Squad trains, certifies, and recertifies many groups, companies, and organizations in the local area. The Squad has a group of dedicated volunteers who have chosen to become American Heart Association BLS Instructors. This outstanding group focuses on preparing local groups and organizations for possible emergencies that can occur.

Benefits of being trained by MSHVFAS volunteers are:

• Lower cost compared to for-profit companies

• All instructors are experienced EMTs who actively ride on the ambulance

• Meet some of the local heroes of Millburn-Short Hills

Below are some of the classes currently offered:

• ​​AHA - BLS for Healthcare Providers

• AHA - Heartsaver CPR/AED Adult, Child, and/or Infant

• AHA - Heartsaver First Aid (CPR/AED can be added)

At this time, we are only training groups of 4 or more individuals.
